The Board met for the thirty-third time on the 6th and 7th of September at Jabiru. All the Board was present, assisted by CEO Dr Emma Young, Governance and Leasing Officer Jessica Wright, translator Nonica Hardy and interpreter Dr Murray Garde. The Board agreed to a short-term sublease to Dig Hard Excavations over a lot in the industrial area.  Other applicants for industrial lots will be considered as extra lots become available. The Board granted a sub-lease over the Bininj Kunwok Centre to  Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation, which already held the licence over the property.  The Board also consented to a number of variations of existing licences or sub-leases, demolitions and allowing access to sites. The Board also met with the National Indigenous Australians Agency about financial matters. Finally, the Board considered the proposed arrangements for GACJT’s AGM in November.
