The Board met for the twenty eighth time on the 27th of October 2022. All of the Board members attended, assisted by CEO Dr Emma Young, Governance and Leasing Officer Jessica Wright and interpreter Dr Murray Garde.
A representative of KML Cleaning attended to discuss an application for a sublease.
A representative of Never Never Safari tours attended to discuss the use of premises for their tour operation and for staff accommodation.
The Board agreed to enter into a substantial number of subleases with the West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) and with ERA, primarily for staff housing. All housing must be rectified by the previous sublessee to comply with the Minimum Housing Standard as a precondition of the sublease. The Board also agreed to finalise negotiations with JKL over a number of subleases.
The Board congratulated the CEO, Dr Emma Young, who had completed her probation period, and thanked her for her work to date.
