The Board met for the thirty-sixth time on the 21st of March 2024 in Jabiru. A majority of the Board participated either in person or via Teams and was assisted by CEO Dr Emma Young, Governance and Leasing Officer Jessica Wright,  minute taker Maxine Campbell and interpreter Dr Murray Garde.  The Board was joined by Shaun Best, President of the Jabiru Golf Club, who gave a presentation on the Golf Club’s Strategic Plan and the Board was pleased to note the progress that the Golf Club had made in addressing a number of outstanding issues. The Board supported the Golf Club’s bid for a grant to replace some redundant irrigation and remove a bore. The Board agreed to the NTG granting an underlease to Red Lily Aboriginal Health Board for the new health centre. The Board agreed to issue a sublease over one of the industrial lots to JN Mousellis Pty Ltd, subject to all improvements being certified. The Board also gave in-principle support for a bid from West Arnhem Regional Council for funding for the Town Plaza Revitalisation Project. The Board also approved a standard design guide for outdoor living spaces, including nine sample designs and a funding request for social and economic development.
